Cruising a different Ocean with Virgin Holidays

For those that have experienced Caribbean cruising, a new Indian Ocean cruise could be just the ticket.  Embarking on the 14 night cruise passengers take in Mauritius, the Seychelles, Mombassa, Comoros Islands, Madagascar and Reunion, before returning to Mauritius. 

Whilst in Mauritius venture into Port Louis, the countries capital, where you can explore the local shops and have a cocktail on the harbour front.  After Mauritius the boat sets sail to Mahé in the Seychelles, a stunning paradise deep in the Indian Ocean.  Mombassa in Kenya is a perfect contrast to the islands of the Seychelles with long white sand beaches, a vibrant buzz and unspoilt scenery.  The Comoros islands are next to explore, the volcanic islands are stunning with some magnificent coral reefs which offer great snorkelling conditions.  The ship then heads to Madagascar, a perfect place to spot giraffes and zebra in their natural habitat on one of the organised safaris.  Final stop is Reunion, a small island 200km South West of Mauritius; the volcanic island is beautifully unspoilt and peaceful.
