VAA Fuel Surcharge Update
Virgin Atlantic have recently reduced their fuel charge, by around £20pp, but only for new bookings made after the 16 October 2008. If you already have a booking with us, we have already agreed the relevant charge on your booking with the airline, therefore we will not be able to pass these discounts on.
I think I’m entitled to a refund on my fuel charges, what do I do?
Passengers may be entitled to a partial refund of fuel surcharges if they purchased
a ticket between 11 August 2004 and 23 March 2006, in the UK or in the US, for
travel on British Airways or Virgin Atlantic.
An independent claims administrator has been appointed to handle the claims
process. If you believe you have a claim you should contact the administrator
directly as the claims process is not being handled either by Virgin Atlantic
or BA. All questions and claims applications must be directed to the claims
processor.
